We have been established for over 50 years
Auckland Indian Sweets & Snacks is the biggest Indian sweets and snacks manufacturer in New Zealand since 1991, and a totally vegetarian business since day one.
The company started off with a small premises and client database and has now expanded to a major customer database. The management has over 50 years of experience in this industry, which started in Fiji.
All the products we sell are made at our own premises in Otahuhu, Auckland. Our chefs have over 15 years' experience preparing Indian sweets & snacks from all around the world.
The owners travel around the world every year to gain more knowledge in the preparation of traditional sweets & snacks, and only deal with respected, approved suppliers — Fonterra for dairy, Meadow Fresh for fresh milk, Weston Milling for flours, and hand-picked spices sourced directly from India and Fiji.
Our business has expanded from one store in Otahuhu to two in Mt Roskill, and continues to grow. We also supply major hotel chains and cater for organisations and functions of every kind — weddings, birthdays, religious functions — from 20 to 2,000 people.
Our motto is quality, not quantity. The secret to our success is hard, honest work and using the best ingredients and people to make the best product.

How do I place an order?
Add products to your cart from the Shop page, then choose click & collect or nationwide delivery at checkout. You can check out as a guest — no account needed.
Which stores offer click & collect?
Otahuhu, Mt Roskill, and Lotus (Stoddard Road) all offer click & collect with bookable time slots. Pick your store and a time when you check out and we'll have it ready and waiting.
How does nationwide delivery pricing work?
Enter your address and postcode at checkout to see delivery options and pricing for your area — Auckland addresses and the rest of New Zealand are priced separately, and delivery is free over $80. Rural (RD) addresses carry a small surcharge.
Are your products vegetarian?
Yes — we have been a 100% vegetarian business since we started in 1991.
Do you list allergens or ingredients for each product?
Our sweets and snacks are prepared in a kitchen that also handles nuts, dairy and gluten. If you have a specific allergy or dietary requirement, please contact us before ordering and we'll do our best to help.
